Black Mountain Shepherds Huts are used for many different activities, but the most popular at the moment is for accommodation with a difference. As well as our own hut close to the market town of Welshpool, and just off the Offa's Dyke path, here we also have a list of our past customers that have chosen to offer holiday accomodation using our shepherds huts.

Our huts are dotted all over the uk from the Isle of Skye down to Salcombe in south Devon, Surrey, South Wales, Llandrindod Wells and also locally in Shropshire, Welshpool, and Montgomeryshire.

Our Hut - Welshpool - Powys

Self Catered Plus Private Hot Tub.

Lake Farm is a rural property set in its own grounds with panoramic views across the Welsh hills. Our bespoke luxury shepherds hut sits on the bank of a large wildlife pond enjoying seclusion and a westerly facing sunset view.

Inside you will find a comfortable double bed, en-suite shower room, tea/coffee making facilities, soft lighting and a tiny 'hobbit stove’ log burner for those romantic nights.

Outside there is a pleasant decked area with sun loungers and steps leading to the private hot tub. Just a few steps further and you reach the ‘Boat House’ our purpose built kitchen and dining space complete with its own log burner, perfect for cosy dining or just open the double doors and enjoy the view, whatever the weather.

A movable fire pit is available should you like to sit outside and enjoy the spectacular view of the Milky Way we enjoy most of the year, cloud permitting.

Heaste, Isle of Skye B&B

With the stunning backdrop of the inner hebrides, Skye Shepherd Huts have two huts offering bed and breakfast, with its five star rating, views and home comforts, this is a great place to get away from the daily hustle and bustle. Each hut can accommodate two people B&B.

Bronygarth, North Shropshire, Bed & Breakfast

Secluded in its own private garden, surrouded by the beautiful Shropshire countryside. This hut has en-suite shower room with small double bed and log burning stove, it can accommodate two people B&B.

Trecastle, Brecon, Self Catering

This hut sits in a very peaceful location in the Brecon Becons, guests have full use of the camping facilities and also a handmade wooden kitchen area to rustle up your own delicious meals. This hut accommodates two people self catering.

Salcombe, South Devon, Self Catering

Nestled in the grounds of this charming chocolate box cottage, this Black Mountain Shepherds Hut has an en-suite cloakroom, small double bed and log burning stove. This hut can be booked with the cottage rental if requested, offering self catering accommodation.

Golfa, Montgomeryshire, Self Catering

The larger of the two shepherds huts has an en-suite shower room, double bed and log burning stove, with exclusive use of a very sweet mini hut close by, which has a compact kitchen and dining area. Both huts benefit from far stretching views across the welsh landscape. In addition to the huts, they also offer self catering accomodation in their luxury holiday lodge.

Lanbister, Powys, Self Catering

You have a mini leafy campsite all to yourself, sitting just above a stream. A cosy shepherd’s hut with vintage patchwork and retro radio, a hot outdoor shower, and a little cooking shack. There’s a hammock strung up in a quiet corner and folding chairs to sit out on while the kettle boils. There’s a comfy double bed and woodburner inside, but the real perk is the ensuite flushing loo… no early morning tramping across cold dewy grass for you!

This hut is set within the walled gardens of a former dairy farm. It has an en-suite shower room, double bed and log burning stove. Its rural location is peaceful with views across the countryside, and best of all, the river Alaw runs by the bottom of the garden.
